“Hi how’s it going? I noticed that you’ve written quite a bit about [subject] and I was wondering if you could give me a few pointers. Here’s a video I’m working on. Let me know what you think. Basically my goal is to make the kind of video people like you would want to share with their audience, so I’d appreciate anything you have to say.”

Doing this helps you perfect the video by getting advice from other players in your industry. By involving them in the process, you make them feel more attached to the outcome and more likely to help you promote it once it’s finished.
